LOUIS EMMANUEL GAUCI, Architect
Louis Gauci, NCARB, is an award winning Architect and Designer practicing actively for more
than 40 years. His architecture and design work has ranged from Residential, Civic, Institutional, Corporate, and Commercial projects across the country. Over the past 30 years he has practiced with particular emphasis on museum planning, gallery design, museum renovations and exhibition design with more than 150 exhibits successfully completed while having collaborated with museum, governmental cultural agencies, and private collections in the United States, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Japan. His gallery and exhibition design work has been completed for a comprehensive global survey of historical, multi-cultural, modern and contemporary art, sculpture, and cultural objects. Focused principally on the museum visitor art experience, Art to Mind is the overarching philosophy. Each overall museum-gallery architectural, spatial organization and design is ultimately to engage each visitor’s attention directly with works of art and interpretive materials in an accessible and meaningful manner. |
Gauci's progressive interior modifications have garnered a number of AIA Interior Design awards, according to the AIA Detroit: The American Institute of Architects Guide to Detroit Architecture.
